Investicioni trendovi na tržištu električne energije

The aim of this paper is to present the latest trends in the electricity market of the European Union and to identify strategic investment priorities in the power sector of Serbia. The introductory chapter presents the recently adopted EU regulation that defines the conditions for doing business in the electricity market. The second chapter points out the specific risks of investing in the power industry as well as identifying global, strategic and operational risks. The third chapter presents the biggest market players, and the fourth chapter of this paper is to present investments in the energy sector of countries in the region. In the last chapter, projects of strategic importance are listed for the development of national electricity market and estimation of their investment value. The concluding remarks are provided at the end of the paper.
