Potencijali agroindustrijskog sektora Vojvodine za privlačenje stranih direktnih investicija

The aim of this paper is to point out the potential of agroindustrial sector of Vojvodina for attracting foreign direct investment. The special contribution to the paper is provided by the empirical analysis in the form of survey, which involved about 150 companies from the agroindustrial sector of Vojvodina. The paper is consisted of five chapters and concluding remarks. In introduction was emphasized the significant share of agroindustrial sector in total industrial production of Vojvodina, as well as the export results of the sector. The second chapter provides a picture of comparative advantages of Vojvodina for the development of agroindustry. Foreign direct investment into agroindustrial sector of Vojvodina are presented in the third chapter of the paper. The opportunities for foreign investment are identified in each subsector of the agroindustry and described in the fourth chapter. The fifth chapter provides the information about the measures of state support in agriculture and agroindustrial sector in Vojvodina. Finally, the last chapter summarizes key messages of the paper.
