Apstrakt:
The current paper represents a new approach for daylighting optimization and lighting control of indoor lighting systems. The basic idea is to maximize the use of the natural light, thus minimizing the electrical energy consumption of the lighting system. The approach proposed uses genetic algorithm as an optimization tool for the lighting control strategy. Further reduction of the potential energy consumption for lighting and improvement of the algorithm is realized by utilizing experimental results for daylight coefficients' values. Two lighting control strategies are taken in consideration and values for the potential lighting energy savings for rooms with different geographical exposure are obtained.
Ključne reči: daylighting optimization, lighting energy consumption; genetic algorithm
