Apstrakt:
Insurance is traditionally founded upon a delicate balance between uncertainty and predictability. AI increasingly disrupts this balance. Through a cross-disciplinary analysis of an AI-mediated driving scenario, this paper demonstrates how predictive and adaptive systems create tensions within the conceptual foundations of insurance itself. The resulting challenges cannot be adequately addressed within any single insurance discipline and instead emerge from their interaction.
