The impact of tourism marketing on tourism enterprises in Libya

Apstrakt
Modern tourism is regarded to be one of crucial economic and social sectors in the world, being an important and distinguished element of development of countries. Ministries of tourism, newly founded universities, colleges and institutes in the field of tourism and hospitality have emphasized the ongoing importance of tourism as an industry and trade. Also, media attention and increased scientific studies on this field have placed tourism in the focus of contemporary world. E-commerce is one of the top-notch methods applied in organizations nowadays, especially in relation to rapid technological developments. Modern organizations are required to implement all the latest technologies in order to achieve efficient performance.
This study identifies the impact of e-commerce in all important, active and attractive sectors in Libya, especially travel and tourism sectors. The study is based on seven hypotheses and it deals with the effects of electronic commerce on travel agents and travel companies in terms of development of services, increased market share, accessibility of service, time efficiency, productivity and cost-effectiveness. The study includes both independent and fixed factors.
