Apstrakt:
The present paper examines the channel induction furnace for melting aluminum using a direct power supply from the grid 0 V; 50 Hz. The focus is on the principle of action and a methodology that has been developed for dimensioning and design. The methodology has been confirmed by means of a laboratory model produced and dimensioned through it.
