Experimental Optimisation of the Performance of Optical Whitening Agents in the Formula for Laundry Detergent

Apstrakt:
The efficacy of four fluorescent agents as an additive in laundry detergent formulations was assessed using response surface methodology. A two factorial optimal composite design was chosen to explain the whitening performance. The model suggested that the factors temperature and the concentration of the optical whitening agent had a significant impact on whitening effect. The optimal conditions were temperature 53÷600C and the concentration of the optical whitening agent 0,25÷0,30 %.
