Apstrakt:
This work is focused on a specific segment of devices that allow a smart use of energy,
throughout this document a Smart Meters Solutions analysis will be showcased. The
aim of this work is to combine and explain key information about the technology being
implemented and its development roadmap, analysis of the impacts of the use of smart
meters in the customer consumption of energy and an overview on the market status and
stage of development in the European market of smart meter devices.
In summary the report is structured with the following sections, organized to give a
clear understanding on: How this solutions operate? How customers react and are
impacted by smart meters? What are the key products in the market? What is the overall
European market situation?
