APPLICATION OF INFORMATION SYSTEMS AND INTERNAL CONTROL IN HOTEL BUSINESS

Apstrakt:
The aim of this paper is to provide the impact of information systems in the hotel business. The application of information technology is one of the key elements of a successful business and decisions making that help to successfully solve the problems of information flow, control costs, perceived business performance, control quality of service, etc..
Bearing in mind the complexity of business in hotels the purpose of this paper is to highlight the importance and impossibility of performance of a good business without the implemented information system in all phases of the business process. The authors will indicate the synergy of information systems and internal controls in the business processes in the hotel business. This paper presents a unified theoretical suggestions and practical experience based on the results obtained in research which is in connection with the implementation of information systems and internal controls in the business of hotel companies in Serbia.
